Copycat - Emilie

Emilie pulled back the flowery covers of her bedspread and climbed into bed. Her cat, Sweetie, jumped onto the bed beside her, rubbed against her elbow and curled up to sleep. Stroking the small tabby kitten, Emilie opened her book and began to read. She did the same thing every night, in her small one-bedroom apartment: she would eat dinner at seven-o'clock sharp, and then watch an hour, or so, of television. After that, she would curl up in her bed and read until eleven, at which time she would turn out the light and go to sleep.
